Kneady Young Cats

Often times, when cats are young, they will begin kneading their owners. You may be sitting on the couch, and they jump up beside you only to begin kneading your stomach. This is natural. The kitten is purely trying to say they love you. When they’re young and with their mothers, they do this very same action in order to show that they are content. If you’d like, go out and get some soft kitten toys to allow them to continue this show of affection when you aren’t home. This can help curb any potential feelings of loneliness all the while encouraging this very happy interaction.
