One of the very best organizational skills that I use is to keep a desk calendar and a pocket one in my purse. Being organized has more to do with keeping track of up coming events and appointments then most people realize. Nothing can make a person feel more scattered than not knowing when or where things are happening. If you have kids it is almost impossible to not keep a calendar. I tried for years to remember everything but after a while I felt like i was just walking around in a daze. That calendars keep me on track for sure.
